APPLYING FOR A PHASE ONE MEDICAL GRANT

 
 

PHASE ONE funds Phase I + II clinical trials for all types of cancer.

Grant proposals are accepted by the PHASE ONE Granting Committee quarterly.

PHASE ONE’s grantmaking is highly competitive. We invest in the best ideas and most innovative research with the potential to significantly impact the future of cancer care.

 

Proposal Process

All proposals will be reviewed in the two weeks after each submission deadline. Notifications regarding application status will be sent to the Principal Investigator.

If selected for further consideration, applicants will go through the following process:

 

step 1–

step 2–

An initial presentation to PHASE ONE’s Executive Director, Granting Committee Chairs, and a Medical Advisory Board Member.*

 


step 3–

A follow-up presentation with the entire PHASE ONE Granting Committee.*

 

*All presentations must include slides, and the prospective grantee should plan to present for 20 minutes maximum. The remainder of the time will be allocated for a thorough Q&A regarding the study’s budget, timeline, etc.

Final award approval is made by the PHASE ONE Board of Directors.

 

 

2024 Submission Deadlines

QUARTER 1– Monday, January 15

QUARTER 2– Monday, April 15

QUARTER 3– Monday, July 15

QUARTER 4– Monday, October 14
