CINDY RUBY

CINDY RUBY was born and raised in Los Angeles. She received her BA in Business Administration from The George Washington University and spent two decades in the entertainment industry, beginning at Sony Pictures Studios in Theatrical Marketing and then serving as Executive Vice President/Creative Director for two leading entertainment advertising agencies.  

She collaborated with some of the most respected filmmakers in the industry and helped to shape award winning theatrical print/outdoor campaigns for clients including: Warner Brothers Studios, 20th Century Fox, Universal Pictures, Walt Disney Studios, Sony Pictures Entertainment, DreamWorks and HBO. She later joined The Ruby Group Companies, an established real estate firm responsible for developing and managing more than three million square feet in both Los Angeles and Orange County. 

Cindy has long supported nonprofit cancer organizations, often working quietly behind the scenes to strengthen their outreach and communications. Her involvement with the PHASE ONE Foundation began when a close friend received care from a physician whose life-saving clinical trial had been made possible through the foundation’s support. Having lost many dear friends and close family members to cancer, she remains committed to raising awareness and helping to fuel the research that will bring forward the next generation of treatments.
