Jordan Bernstein

JORDAN BERNSTEIN is a corporate, real estate, and business transactional attorney with a niche practice serving hoteliers, restaurateurs, chefs, food and beverage manufacturers, and other hospitality, fashion, and retail businesses. He represents many of the nation’s most accomplished chefs and hospitality professionals whose work has earned national recognition and acclaim in the culinary world.

In addition to his legal practice, Jordan is an investor, strategic partner, and board member of multiple restaurant and hospitality companies. Having owned and worked in restaurants himself, he has a deep understanding of the financial and operational challenges in the industry. This hands-on experience enables him to provide strategic counsel that helps concepts and creative ambitions thrive. Jordan also advises food and beverage manufacturers and wholesalers, ranging from startups to established brands, on a variety of transactional and operational matters.

Jordan’s industry expertise and business-driven approach make him a trusted strategic advisor and deal manager. Frequently serving as outside general counsel, he collaborates closely with entrepreneurs launching new ventures and established businesses navigating growth, expansion, or corporate transitions. His real estate practice includes guiding clients—whether tenants or property owners—through complex negotiations and transactions involving their real property interests.

Beyond his professional endeavors, in memory and honor of his mother who lost her battle with ovarian cancer in 2002 at the age of 52, in 2010 Jordan joined the Board of the PHASE ONE Foundation, a nonprofit organization that raises millions annually to fund critical Phase I and Phase II clinical trials for cancer research and treatment. He earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and graduated with honors in English from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
