Rebecca Cocco, Paula Selesnick, and Cindy Ruby bring with them a wealth of experience, dedication, and personal connection to the fight against cancer, making them invaluable additions to the organization.
PHASE ONE Foundation has long been at the forefront of supporting pioneering clinical trials, ensuring the development and delivery of safer, more effective cancer treatments. The addition of these new Board Members underscores the foundation's commitment to its mission of changing the face of cancer and expanding its impact in the fight against this devastating disease.
Rebecca Cocco, originally from Boston, Massachusetts, has dedicated 25 years of her life to the fashion industry as a key figure at Labeltex Mills, a global leader in trims and packaging for renowned fashion brands. Rebecca's personal connection to cancer, having lost her father to the disease and currently supporting her husband in his battle against stage 4 sarcoma, fuels her passion for PHASE ONE's mission.
Paula Selesnick, a long-time supporter of PHASE ONE, brings an extensive background in charitable organizations, including her service with The National Charity League and Relay for Life. Paula's personal journey with cancer, having witnessed her daughter's battle with CML, a chronic form of leukemia, and her own triumph over breast cancer through a Phase II clinical trial, underscores her dedication to the cause.
Cindy Ruby, a native of Los Angeles, has spent her career making a mark in the theatrical marketing and real estate industries. Her leadership and creative expertise have been instrumental in shaping marketing campaigns for major film studios. Cindy currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Skirball Cultural Center and as Vice President at the Ruby Family Foundation. She is dedicated to expanding the impact of PHASE ONE and its invaluable commitment to making a difference in the fight against cancer.
