NICOLE BLANK has spent nearly 25 years working as a consultant in both politics and entertainment, specializing in research and strategic communications. Prior to moving to Los Angeles, she served as Director of Research and Strategy at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in Washington, D.C. Since relocating to Los Angeles, Nicole has advised clients across public policy, media, and creative industries on complex social justice and storytelling initiatives.
PHASE ONE’s mission is deeply personal to Nicole. In 2008, she lost her mother after a 10-year battle with breast cancer. During her mother’s illness, Nicole and her family helped fund a Phase I clinical trial in Boston in the hope that it might extend her life. In 2013, after learning she carries the BRCA gene mutation, Nicole underwent a prophylactic double mastectomy. Those experiences profoundly shaped her belief in the urgency of early-stage research and the critical role Phase I trials play in developing breakthrough treatments.
Nicole is committed to accelerating innovative cancer research and expanding access to early-stage clinical trials so that patients facing a diagnosis have meaningful treatment options.
Nicole lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
