AMEISH GOVINDARAJAN, MD, a native to Los Angeles, is a physician who recently began his Internal Medicine residency with plans to pursue a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology.
In 2012, Ameish was diagnosed with Stage IV non small cell lung cancer. After an arduous journey of extensive surgeries and treatments, he was given a clean bill of health.
The opportunity to participate on the advisory board for Phase One is extremely close to his heart, as he was the recipient of targeted therapies and participated in a trial which he attributes to saving his life.
Through his own experiences as both a physician and a survivor, Ameish hopes to be a fierce and knowing advocate for cancer patients and to be involved with the future of cancer research.
